Bob,
Comments 1 -3 have been addressed. Health department and VDOT approval (4 & 5) are required before the plat can be
signed by the County. You are welcome to go ahead and plot for owner signatures, but the County can't sign until the
other approvals are in place, so it could end up sitting here for a while.

The County of Albemarle has received an application to develop /subdivide Tax Map 114 Parcel
6. This project requires Health Department approval prior to receiving final County approval.
The applicant has provided a soils report, which is attached. Please review the proposal for
suitable subsurface drainfields that comply with the provisions of Chapter 18, Sections 4.2.2,
4.2.3, 4.2.4, and Chapter 14, Section 310 of the Albemarle County Code.

Subject: SUB201300071 Martin - Family Subdivision TMP 114 -6
Mr. Coleman,
I received this application today for review and wanted to let you know that is does not meet the conditions of approval
for a family subdivision. It appears that the current owners have only owned the property since March 2013 and family
division conditions state that no lot may be created by family subdivision unless it has been owned by the current owner
or a member of his or her immediate family for at least four (4) consecutive years immediately preceding the date the
family subdivision plat is submitted. However, it does appear that it could be reviewed as a Rural Division, please let me
know if you would like for it to be reviewed under that section of the ordinance. Additionally, if you do want to proceed,
soils work will be required for both lots. I will include that in my review comments, but thought I'd go ahead and
mention it now because the Health Department review of soils work is sometimes a lengthy process.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
