Justification for request:
The front portion of the property is in the jurisdictional area for water and sewer.
The rear portion of the property is in the jurisdictional area for water and gravity fed sewer.
The University would like permission to pump the sewer uphill and intercept the public sewer through the proposed LTACH facility as
opposed to installing a lengthy and expensive gravity line down hill to the Seig warehouse property. In both cases,the warehouse will be on
public sewer,the question is,at what location does the service line tie in to the main sewer line.To save money and to protect existing trees
and vegetation,that would have to be removed to run the gravity line,the University would like to pump up the hill and intercept the main
line at a different location.
