No-one answered the door, but I went down to the back and had a look at the work you have done by the creek. This looks fine. I hope it grows in well. I will approve the plan and consider this matter closed out. Thanks for your attention to this. Glenn Brooks, P.E. All the work on the plans was done in the past two weeks, so the mitigation as described is not planned, it's complete. I left a brief message this morning. I also tried your cell, which doesn't seem to have the VM set up. Anyway, I'm sorry the work has been lagging. I talked to the landscaper immediately upon our first discussion. He was delayed on a job then the weather slowed him down. I continued to explain the urgency of the matter. Then the property issue cropped and we were all unsure how to proceed until that was sorted out. Your first letter came to me on 22 July, just as the landscapers were prepping the mulch and grasses. 2 Since that was sorted last week, we've made progress. The two trails to the creek are in,the mulch is down, the shrubs and grasses are to be put down tomorrow as is the netting. and I've added a redbud tree to the list to help establish a more complex root system along the creek as we discussed. I read the pdf you sent and the complexity of the creekside landscape is very much appreciated and I want you to know that I am fully committed to what we discussed upon meeting on the property, and continually strengthening it. Had I known, or had the man who cleared the area told me, or my neighbor come and talked to me, I would have adjusted the work accordingly. City boy mistake on my part and a well learned lesson. If possible, I would like to invite you out toward the end of the week to see what we've accomplished and perhaps lay this matter to rest. If we need to follow the bureaucratic path at this point, I would like to discuss what documentation you need by 16 August, so I can complete it and we can move forward. Let me know when you are available to discuss. Best, Gregg Early Water which is too pure has no fish. Ts'ai Ken T'an Water which is too pure has no fish. Ts'ai Ken Tan 3
