March Mountain Properties, LLC Date of Comments: 14 May, 2013 Reviewer: Michael Koslow The plans for this development have been revised to incorporate the changes requested in the comments dated May 14, 2013 A) Application Information 1) The requirement for a stormwater management agreement is acknowledged. 2) The requirement for payment of the pro-rated share to Lickinghole Basin is acknowledged. B) Title Information 1) The title sheet is prepared with a professional seal, signed by an Engineer. C) Existing Conditions Information: 1) The date(s) of existing topography have been added at the top of the analysis sheet. D) Erosion and Sediment Control(ESC) Plan 1) The adjacent areas section of the narrative has been expanded. 2) The references to WPO-2011-0013 have been revised to WPO-2012-0013 3) A note has been added indicating the contractor parking, staging, stockpiling areas will be within the limits of disturbance. 4) The Albemarle County paved construction entrance detail has been added to the E&S detail sheet beneath the VA-ESC entrance detail. 5) Dust control has been added to the narrative, plan, and legend. 6) The soil boundaries and identifiers are indicated on the plans. 7) Silt fence is to be installed after the berm is constructed along the contours of the proposed berm. 8) The basin calculations have been performed to meet VA 10.1-603.4(7) and a receiving channel analysis is not required. 9) The invert for the dewatering device has been revised. 10)A note has been added to the sediment basin schematic indicating the riser, and anchor is to be utilized. 11)A note has,been added to the sediment basin schematic indicating the existing trash rack is to be utilized. 12)The calculations for the dewatering orifice have been added. Using an 8"orifice will allow the basin to drain faster than the regulations permit. 13)The length of baffle has been increased. E) Stormwater Mana tent Plan 1) A view of the e "ing topography has been added indicat' 19g all the area draining to the receiving channel, and the type of cover has been added, 2) The proposed topography, drainage divides, hydrologic coefficients were already on the plans. 3) A low berm has been added to increase the length/width ratio in the bottom of the bioretention basin. 4) The 10, and 100 year high-water elevations have been added to the schematic detail, indicating 1'+ freeboard for the 100-year storm. 5) The existing berm is not to be disturbed. 6) A conical, manufactured trash-rack has been specified. 7) The dimensions of the proposed riser has been indicated at 48". 8) The existing emergency spillway was already located in"cut". 9) Additional contour label have been added to the grading details. 10)The surface area/treatment calculations have been revised by Michael, and added to the plans. 11)Geotech fabric has been added above the choking layer on the details. 12)The cleanout spacing has been reduced to 50' F) Stormwater Management Computations: 1) The changes to the impervious area have been made to the routing calculations, and are indicated on the analysis sheet.
