Thanks. I have attached the latest (final)version. Some minor tweaks, but the heights did not change.
This is more for your records so you have the final elevations, but the elevations and heights between
the two have not changed. Thanks for getting it on the agenda, we are anxious to have this approval
done.
Also, attached is the approval letter on the W°C from Glenn. I believe that we wit. have A:5A,shortly,
they have approved the plans, but we are wrapping up some utility dedications on the Lodge property,
that they are trying to get corpiete prior to issuing approval on the Rutherfoord note:. This is should be
cleaned up by next weer, c.-:out re same t.-v, u,e , perova: from 3';.

Attached is the variation going on next week's consent agenda. I had not seen the revised elevations
that were submitted to the ARB,so initially the executive summary used the 2-19-13 architectural
drawings provided with the original variation request. Are the ones shown in Attachment B the latest
version?
As far as signing goes, I could be missing something, but I don't believe ACSA has forwarded their
approval. Do you have any indication of their approval? How about from Engineering? Michael
Koslow's last comment was that"site plan comments had been addressed, but an approved WPO plan
was required." I have not heard from Glenn on whether or not the WPO plan is approved.

I wanted to provide you with an update to this application.
No members of the public attended the SRC meeting yesterday. I saw on the news that the Crozet Community
Advisory Council learned about it recently. It seemed like it was well-received.
Here are few things to consider as we move forward:
1. My plan is to put the variation request on the April 10th Consent Agenda for the Board of Supervisors.
I'm confirming that date with the County Exec's office.
2. For ARB approval, you'll need to submit an application for a County-wide Certificate of
Appropriateness (found here). I've attached the design criteria that will apply for this project and a
review schedule. There is a submittal date this coming Monday, March 25th. I've shared the elevations
you provided with our ARB Design Planner, Margaret Maliszewski. You can contact her with any
additional questions at 434-296-5832, ext. 3276.
3. Please contact Archer Campbell at the Health Department to discuss permits related to the restaurant and
the hotel. Her email is ElizabethA.Campbell @vdh.virginia.gov

Hey JT,
Found the email. Yes,the operator/owner will need to submit a plan review application and annual permit application
for both the restaurant and hotel. On average, these reviews take the department 2 weeks to process. Operator can
pick up applications at our office on Rose Hill Drive or download from our website at:
www.tihd.org
He can go to the environmental health section at that site and download both applications. We can then send plan
review approval to your building dept.to release the building permit to the operator.

Thanks for your email. Hope you've been doing well.
I agree that we'll have the opportunity to comment during the building permit review. Please make a note in
the file that the applicant should contact the health department and schedule a preliminary conference to
discuss the permitting and design requirements for the facility before the BP is issued. That would just ensure
that they're on the right track from a construction and process point of view. If there are design changes with
the structure regarding hand sinks, electrical connections, etc,then they could be made on the plan before
construction begins. I have copied Eric Myers and Archer Campbell on this email so that they're in the loop.

The Site Review Committee has reviewed the development proposal referenced above. The Agent for the Board of
Supervisors is recommending conditional approval. Final approval can be granted once all of the comments for the
following divisions of the Department of Community Development and other agencies are addressed, including:
Albemarle County Division of Current Development(Planner)
Albemarle County Division of Current Development(Engineer)
Albemarle County Division of Inspections(Building Official)
Albemarle County Architectural Review Board
Albemarle County Fire and Rescue
Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority
Albemarle County Service Authority(ACSA)
Virginia Department of Transportation(VDOT)
Albemarle County Zoning Division(will forward upon receipt)
Please make the revisions that have been identified as necessary for approval by the Site Review Committee and
submit 8 copies to me for review.
In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised
final site plan to address all of the requirements within six(6)months after the date of this letter the application shall
be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
