Box 6255 Charlottesville, VA 22906 RE: SP 2004-060 Second Bank & Trust - Southside: Tax Map 91, Parcel 2D2 Dear Ms. Long: On March 16,2005, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on SP 2004-060 Second Bank & Trust - Southside to allow a drive-in window to serve a bank in accordance with Section 25.2.2.4 of the Zoning Ordinance, on Tax Map 91 Parcel2D2 in the Scottsville zoning district. This special use permit was approved based on the following conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission: 1. The site shall be constructed in general accordance with the preliminary site plan entitled "Proposed Site Plan and Special Use Permit, Second Bank & Trust - Southside Branch", last revised December 27,2004; 2. The furthest lane from the building shall be maintained free of any obstructions and limited to bypassing traffic; and 3. Signage and pavement markings shall be provided at the entrance and exit points of the drive- through lane, subject to Current Development Division engineering approval to ensure appropriate and safe travel patterns. Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on the project noted above, no uses on the property as approved above may lawfully begin until all applicable approvals have been received and conditions have been met. This includes: SP 2004-060 Southside Bank & Trust - Southside March 21, 2005 Page 2 · compliance with conditions of the SPECIAL USE PERMIT; · approval of and compliance with a SITE PLAN amendment; and · approval of a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE. In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued is not commenced within twenty-four (24) months from the date of Board approval, it shall be deemed abandoned and the permit terminated. The term "commenced" means "construction of any structure necessary to the use of the permit."
