RE: ARB-2022-107: Flow VW stone -stucco change
Dear Karim,
The plans submitted for the above referenced project, dated December 6, 2022, have been reviewed. Based
on the proposed material and color and the distance from the street, the proposal is expected to have an
appropriate appearance for the Entrance Corridor. For these reasons, we have approved your proposal. You
may consider this correspondence your Certificate of Appropriateness.
This approval is specifically conditioned on the following:
1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and
other submittal items presented.
2. Mechanical equipment shall not be visible from the Entrance Corridor.
Please note the following:
1. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
2. Certificates of Appropriateness are valid for the same period that the corresponding site plan is
valid. If there is no site plan required for the proposed work, the Certificate of Appropriateness
is valid for 3 years. Applicants requesting an extension of the period of validity must do so in
writing. The letter must be received by the Director of Planning prior to the expiration date.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks.
Margaret

Good morning, Karim and Bruce.
The links referenced on sheet 4 of the Flow revised architectural drawings packet didn't come through in
the on-line submittal. Would it be possible to email them to me?
Thanks so much.
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
I am working with Bruce on the VW Synthetic stucco. I wanted to verify with you what you needed prior
to completing the online application. Please see attached PDF with exterior elevations demarking the
change and a page on the synthetic stucco material and finish. Since this is the only change, do you want
me to add a floor plan (A5B) +the (61) additional materials to the online application portal?
Apologies on asking these questions, but as I get the hang of the online portal, I just wanted to check on
a few things with you:
1. For the online application: I have the address for this property as 1294 Richmond Road (from
GIS), but the initial ARB application was set to 1300 since it included the whole site. Is this ok?
Would you prefer I enter it online as 1300?
2. The online portal is showing me a fee of $559.52, just wanted to verify this number with you as
well prior to paying the fees:
This step must be completed to submit the application.

Thank you!
