All Things Pawssible Response to Memorandum for Special Use Permit
Waste Removal: Our operation is and always has been a poop and
scoop. We clean up with bio-degradable bags and remove to landfill.
Our Surface Coating Pro is similar to a pool area and will be mopped the
same as an indoor area.
Additional Uses: We will have one room approximately 8 by 10 for
grooming. This will be on an as needed basis. Hours will be between
peak drop off and pick up. Hours for grooming and massage will be
10:00-3:00 therefore allowing a free parking lot for groomer. If we do
have massage the hours will be the same and the space about the
same.
There is an area for an overnight staff to ensure the safety of our dogs.
This area is approximately 500 sq. feet.
Special events will be held onk1weekends and not to exceed once month.
This could include competitions and adoption events. Weekend events
will be between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Sq. footage will be
2000 sq. feet for the trials and 1500 sq. feet for set up of participants
and pets. Trials will be invited guests not to exceed 50. Adoption events
are open to the public and will not exceed 70 at any given time, these
events are most likely staggered in terms of visitors.
We have an agreement with Pro Builder across the street that our
customers may park there for events as they are closed on weekends
and have allowed Peabody School the same privilege. We will be sure
to make certain that our events do not compete with any school
events.

Noise: Our six food privacy fence prevents stimulus barking. Most
barking occurs when dogs are overstimulated by people or other dogs.
We have eliminated the potential for such barking. Most barking is play
related and short lived and is redirected by our staff. Incessant barking
is a behavioral issue and dogs that are making too much noise are
removed from play and given a rest period. Dogs are put on leash until
they can quiet. Keeping in mind our business is a training facility and
our goals is to teach dogs' good behavior and proper socialization. Our
dogs are always indoors in the evening and we believe that our
business will not be any noisier than most industrial type businesses.
Daily Parking: Our business is sequential, very similar to a child daycare
when parents drop off at different times. We have six parking spaces at
our current facility and we have never had parking issues. On weekends
and evening we have access to ten spaces to accommodate for classes
in which customers will stay for an hour at a time. Again, parking has
never been an issue for us and we have no reason to believe that it will
occur with our new proposed site. We have provided a parking study
over a two day period at our current facility.
