PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF WORK
THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF AN INTERIOR RENOVATION OF LANDLORD PROVIDED
TENANT SPACE AT THE SHOPS AT STONEFIELD IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. THIE
RENOVATION CONSISTS OFANEW RETAIL STORE FOR THE SALE OF LEGOS AND SIMILAR
AND ASSOCIATED PRODUCTS, A PARTY ROOM FOR HOSTING SMALL GROUPS OF PEOPLE
WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS AND BACK OF HOUSE AREAS INCLUDING RESTROOMS AND
STOCK I STORAGE ROOMS FOR STORAGE OF PRODUCTS NOT ON DISPLAY.
THE RENOVATION WILL PRIMARILY LEAVE THE EXISTING SPACE UN -ALTERED WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF ADDING A 314 HEIGHT PARTITION TO CREATE A NEW EMPLOYEE AREA AS
PART OF THE BACK -OF -HOUSE. EXISTING FINISHES WILL RECEIVE A NEW COAT OF PAINT
WHERE INDICATED.
TWO EXISTING ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM WILL BE WITHIN
THIS SPACE, AND WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. A NEW DRINKING FOUNTAIN
COMPLYING WITH ADA REQUIREMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE EMPLOYEE AREA WITH
SIGNAGE INDICATING THAT ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.
EXISTING SINKS WITHIN BACK -OF -HOUSE AREAS ARE TO REMAIN AND WILL SERVE TO
SUPPORT THE STORAGE USE AS THE MERCHANDISE THAT IS SOLD I USED FOR PARTIES
REQUIRES CLEANING AFTER USE AND BEFORE STORING. THERE WILL BE NO
KITCHENETTE OR SIMILAR TYPE OF ROOM FOR THE PROJECT.
EXISTING FIRE SUPPRESSION, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL WORK WILL BE LEFT
UNTOUCHED. ANY FUTURE ALTERATION TO THESE SERVICES WOULD BE FILED UNDER A
SEPARATE PERMIT REQUEST.
