Good morning Lea,
We will be pursuing a Special Exception under the new homestay regulations. For now
we would like to
defer AP202200001 until July when if all goes well we will withdraw it.
Thank you for your help.

Good afternoon,
Attached is a copy of the homestay regulations adopted by the Board of Supervisors
on
April 6, 2022. The adopted regulations included a provision for permitting Rural
Area
parcels of over 5 acres in size to apply for a Special Exception to permit a
Resident
Manager to fulfill the occupancy requirements for a homestay.
As this adopted regulation applies to your property, please advise whether you will
be
pursuing or withdrawing AP202200001. Also, please advise whether you plan to submit
a special exception for a Resident Manager for a homestay, so that staff can direct
you
appropriately.
Staff is currently preparing agenda information for the May 3, 2022 BZA meeting, so
please let me know by Friday, April 15, 2022 how you wish to proceed.
Best regards,
