SITE PLAN AMENDMENT NARRATIVE The purpose of this site plan amendment is to amend SDP00 -383 to accommodate: 1. Remove portions of existing curb and pavement as shown on the demolition detail 1 on sheet C2. 2. Remove existing tree and one way traffic sign as shown on the demolition detail 1 on sheet C2. 3. Add new CG -2 island as shown on the plan and per VDOT standard specifications. 4. Add painted traffic striping per VDOT standard specifications. 5. Add new pavement in areas shown on the plan per the standard pavement detail 1 on sheet C3. 6. Add new large shade tree in the location shown on the plan to replace the existing tree to be removed. 7. Add topsoil with grass seed to create the proposed grass area inside the new CG -2 island where grass does not currently exist. 8. Change the parking requirements to reflect a 10% reduction in total parking required as part of a shopping center use. See parking schedule below for more info. 9.
