CHECK DAMS -CHECK DAMS SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR SEDIMENT ACCUMULATION AFTER EACH RUNOFF PRODUCING STORM EVENT. SEDIMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED WHEN IT REACHES 1/2 OF THE ORIGINAL HEIGHT OF THE MEASURE. REGULAR INSPECTIONS SHOULD BE MADE TO INSURE THAT THE CENTER OF THE DAM IS LOWER THAN THE EDGES. EROSION CAUSED BY HIGH FLOWS AROUND THE EDGES OF THE DAM SHOULD BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY. THE DRAINAGE FROM THE SITE ENTERS THE CREEK ALONG THE WESTERN PROPERTY LINE AND. CROSSES UNDER PLANK ROAD TO THE SOUTH BRANCH CREEK. THERE ARE NO EXISTING FLOOD PLAINS OR WATER PROTECTION BUFFERS ON THE PROPERTY. THE PLAN IS SHOWING A 100' STREAM BUFFER. NONE OF THE LAND DISTURBANCE ACTIVITIES WILL BE CLOSE TO THE EXISTING FLOODPLAIN OR STREAM BUFFERS.
