Thanks for following up yesterday.
I decided to reach out to ACSA to confirm if they were okay with what Timmons proposes for sewer
connections to the public system since I hadn't received anything yet to that effect from the engineer.
Please refer to emails below and confirm if Timmons coordinated their proposal with someone at the
ACSA. Maybe they spoke with someone other than Jeremy? If not, he has asked that they contact Justin
Weiler.
Please let me know when you've been able to confirm the status to ACSA coordination.

Please have them contact Justin Weiler as our understanding was that the developer was pursing a
gravity connection to the ACSA's Madison Office Park Pump Station.

Thanks for passing this along. I'm a little surprised by this application as the developer of the Filthy
Beast property has submitted payment to the ACSA for pump upgrades at our Madison Office Park
Pump Station. The ACSA is in the midst of a CIP Project to replace this pump station and the developer
has contributed financially (more than $70k) to upgrade the pumps to serve their proposed needs. We
did advise them that the existing sewer force main from the Madison Office Park Pump Station would
need to be upgraded, but they indicated a willingness to complete that work as part of their
development. The location of this pump station is shown on the GIS map near the intersection of Old
Ivy Road and Faulconer Drive. This property is expected to be served by gravity sewer over to the
Madison Office Park area. I did notice the application was prepared by Timmons Group, while our
previous communications were with Dewberry Engineers. Do you have an understanding as to why the
property owner is now pursuing an alternative connection to public sewer as opposed to the one
previously discussed?

This project is proposing a private sewer lift station to serve up to 525 units. Does this reach the number
of units to justify the ASCA accepting this as a public system? Or is it more based on the number of
customers? There will be a single owner of all the units on this property, so one customer/owner, who
will be renting the units out.
Also, do you have any issues with what they are showing for connections to the public systems?

The Old Ivy Residences ZMA application has been submitted for a 3rd review with staff. Documents
associated with the resubmittal are attached. A summary is below.
Please be aware that the applicant has submitted a parking reduction request and a central sewerage
system request. These are new requests that have not been proposed by the applicant on previous
submittals of this application.
