Below I have provided the information about Whittington Subdivision Phase A (SUB201300057) which you
requested.

As requested attached is the approved final plat for the Whittington Subdivision Phase A,this approval was
very recent as of 10-29-13.
The item went to SRC on May 23, 2013. Attached is the letter which was sent to all abutting owners. Your
name appears in the lower portion as an abutting owner who was sent this letter.

I'd suggest that you speak with the applicant and notify them of what happened with the surveyors placing
surveying tape on your land for future grading. If this continues and they begin grading on your property, the
next step would be to call the County's Site Inspector for the site. His name is Mark Hopkins and his phone
number is 434.296.5832 ext 3380. On most days he is out in the field, but he returns to the office and checks
voicemail.
I hope the above info illation helps remedy the situation.
Also. you asked about your property being able to connect to water and sewer in the future. The current Comp
Plan is under review as part of that plan is an amendment to the Southern and Western Neighborhoods,
Neighborhood 5 (your neighborhood) which is currently proposed to be added to the Development Area of the
County. The BOS has not finalized this vet as they are still working on the rest of the plan. but we hope this gets
finalized by the end of next year or so. if this goes through and your property remains in the development area
you will be able to connect to water and sewer through an application for a urisdt.;l mat area request. you

This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee, unless a written request is made for Planning Commission
review by a member of the Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors, or an abutting property owner by
the Request for Review deadline. If requested for review, the development proposal will be reviewed by
the Planning Commission. All applicable dates scheduled for this development proposal are listed below.
