This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:
SUB201400094 Foothills Crossing 11-Preliminary Subdivision Plat
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: White Hall
TAX MAP/PARCEL: 05600-00-00-05700, 056A2-01-00-06200
LOCATION:South side of Three Notch'd Road(Route 240),0.5 miles east of intersection with Crozet
Avenue.
PROPOSAL: Request for preliminary plat approval to create 38 lots on 16.71 acres, at a density of
2.27 dwelling units per acre.
ZONING: R6, Residential-residential(6 units/acre and up to 9 units/acre bonus level)under section
16 of the zoning ordinance; R2, Residential - residential (2 units/acre and up to 3 units/acre bonus
level) under section 14 of the zoning ordinance.
ENTRANCE CORRIDOR: YES
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE/DENSITY: Crozet Development Area, Neighborhood Density
Residential-residential(3-6 units/acre), supporting uses such as religious institutions, schools and
other small-scale non-residential uses; Urban Density Residential—residential (6 - 12 units/acre),
supporting uses such as religious institutions, schools, commercial, office and service uses;
Greenspace—public parks, open space, environmental features.
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help
with any questions, we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-5832 ext 3272 during
business hours(8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
please notify the Department olommunity Development so that any concern9stfay be adequately addressed.
