Importance: High Katie - You and I last spoke about this proposal on September 12r ". I pointed out that the sign drawing did not contain the note requiring an opaque background — see my August 28`" email below (yellow hi- lite). Otherwise everything looked ok. I have not received the revised drawing from you and was wondering what the status was on this proposal. Please let me know. Brent Brent W. We will not be changing the bulb type from what is existing, will we need to take specifications from the existing sign ?. Regarding the sign panel, it was designed in this way to match the existing panel with the colored logos and white background. Is there any way that we could keep the logo colors for the lettering, as this is the same as the existing sign, or do we have to invert the colors? Thank you, Katie Cullinan +1 ( i1 to i )l ".. 1144 E. The following issues have been identified that will need to be adequately addressed for an administrative ARB approval. 1. Your sign drawing shows dark blue and pink colors but does not list those colors in the legend. Please revise the sign drawing to include a list of all sign colors (include the PMS equivalent number for each color) and indicate where the color is used on the sign. 2. Please revise the sign drawing to indicate if the sign is internally illuminated. If it is, indicate the bulb type. If LED is proposed the following note is required on the sign drawing: "The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon. " 3. The Zoning Ordinance and ARB Sign Guidelines require that the sign background be opaque, non - illuminated at night. Only the text and graphic can illuminate. Please revise the sign drawing to include the following note: "The refaced cabinet panel shall be opaque, non - illuminated at night; only the text and graphics shall illuminate " Please email revised drawings back to me. You are welcome to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. Brent Brent W. Nelson Planner Planning Services Department of Community Development County of Albemarle 401 McIntire Rd.
