Let this email serve as a response to both Gwen Lacy’s email from yesterday and Greg
Baldwin’s phone call from today seeking a status update on Sub2013-166. I have since
reviewed the revised plat dated Dec 11, 2013 and find that all platting issues have been
addressed. Owners can move forward with signing the plat and notarizing it if they so choose.
However, Planning staff is still awaiting Health Department approval of the soil work for the
division. The Health Departments approval is required prior to the plats approval. I received
confirmation they received the plat and awaiting the results of their review/ approval. Once I
receive it, I’ll let you know and move forward with the approval of the plat.

Good morning Chris,
I forgot to let you know that the NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT-OF-WAY (D.B. 638-1, 3 Plat) that was
shown on the plat, along the gravel road, off State Route 769, was extinguished in a later
deed. Therefore, I have removed it from the plat. Thanks and have a good day.

Please find attached pdf copies of the revised plat for Seale.
The plat has been revised to reflect your comments dated December 10, 2013.
The ZMA's from the county website for Parcel 29B1 have been added to the plat under note A with
the zoning designation.
Note 4 is the general easements and not zoning requirements.
Please review the revised plat at your earliest convenience and let us know if all we are waiting for is
Health Department approval.
I will also deliver a hard copy to the front desk if needed.

Subject: SUB 201300166 – Daniel L. and Rita R. Seale Subdivision Plat
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Final Plat referenced
above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable
reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-302B(5)] Zoning Classification. The property which is subject to the boundary line adjustment owned
by Pantops-Lakeridge, LLC, TMP 62-29B1 is subject to proffers from ZMA1994-16, ZMA 88-04, and
ZMA79-27. On the plat provide this information on sheet 1 of the plat under Note A and Note #4.
2. [14-309 & 14-310] Soil evaluations & Health director approval of septic systems. The submitted soils
evaluations were forwarded to the Health Department for review/approval on 12-04-13; staff is awaiting the
results of the HD review. The plat cannot be approved until their approval is received. Once received I will
let you know.
