I believe our last correspondence focused on the riser in the wet pond and the fact that the As Builts submitted note 5- 5" orifices in the riser structure. I inspected the structure and found only 3, with the other two having been parged, or plugged. To close this project (I believe we already received DEQ permit termination approval on 4-19-22 a bit prematurely) we just need a revised/updated As Built showing 3-5" orifices, or the two that have been plugged need to be unplugged. As soon as we get the revised As Built, or notification that two of the orifices have been unplugged (I'll go out again to verify), we can close this out. Please let me know if you have any questions. I see that the 2010 plan had originally included underground detention, but that that design was amended a few years later under WP02013-44 I believe. The current approved plan calls for a retention basin at the far east end of the property. I see your As Built certification dated October 19, 2020. I have the following questions: 1. The plan calls for a forebay with a gabion basket dam with crest about 4" lower than the 30" invert out elevation of the main inlet pipe into the basin, and that it is to be "submerged". When I was on site yesterday the pond appeared to be at the invert out elevation, or slightly lower. I couldn't see the gabion basket dam in the water where the plan calls for it. Can you please verify that its there; 2. The principal spillway is designed to have 5/5" orifices in it. I saw 3 and at least one area where it appeared an orifice had been parged, or plugged. Can you please clarify this; 3. The same structure noted in #2 above is leaking at one of the ring's joints below the 5" orifices' elevation. I have always assumed that a leaking structure needed to be repaired before bond was released. Can you clarify please. Thanks Scott for your help on this.
