Dear Mr. Padalino,
Please find attached five copies of the revised Plats. The plans have been revised to address your
comments received on October 19,2018 in accordance with the following:
Planning: Tim Padalino(tadalino@albemarle.org)—Requested Changes(10/19/2018)
[Requirements]:
1. [14.302-(B)-5]: Please revise Note 9 to clearly reference all zoning overlay districts, including: Steep
Slopes—Preserved; Steep Slopes—Managed; and Flood Hazard.Note 9 correctly identifies the base
zoning district(Residential R-15).
RESPONSE—Note updated.
2. [14.302-(B)-5]: Please revise Note 9 to include a reference to the"Special Exception to waive and
modify the Height Regulations—Setbacks and Stepbacks in Residential Districts for The Vistas at South
Pantops"that was approved with conditions by the Board of Supervisors on September 5,2018.
RESPONSE—Note updated.
3. [14.302-(B)-8 and 18-4.19]: Please revise Note 10 to specify minimum yard requirements("Setbacks
and Stepbacks in Residential Districts")for"non-infill"properties/projects.Note 10 incorrectly
references the requirements for"infill"projects/properties.
RESPONSE—Changed setback notes to reflect requirements of non-infill properties/projects.
[Advisory—Recommendations]:
1. Please note there are spelling errors in Notes 10("closet")and 12("heron").
RESPONSE-Made corrections to spelling errors.
Engineering: John Anderson/janderson2@albemarle.org—Requested Changes(10/11/2018)
1. Correct Note 10 to read, "Zoning setback: Front Min-closest setback..."
RESPONSE—Note updated.
2. Show and label preserved and managed steep slopes, on both special lot and residue parcel.
RESPONSE—Emailed Mr.Anderson,discussed resolution(10/25/2018).
