Taylor) Magisterial District White Hall Proposal To install a 68' tall steel monopole with associated equipment. Context The site is located in a densely wooded rural area. ARB Meeting Date June 23, 2014 Staff Contact Margaret Maliszewski HISTORY: The ARB has reviewed no previous proposals for this site. PROJECT DETAILS • The proposed monopole location is approximately 185' north of the property line along I64. The property line is approximately the same distance from the paved road. • The reference tree is a 24" Chestnut Oak with a height of 69.8'AGL. • The proposed monopole is a 68' tall steel pole, with base at 1673.2' AMSL, and top at 1741.2' AMSL. • 1 array of 3 flush - mounted panel antennas is proposed. The antennas measure approximately 73" tall x 12" wide x 7.1" deep. • 6 TMAs (tower mounted amplifiers) are to be installed below the antenna array. The TMAs are smaller than the antennas. • An existing gravel road is to be repaired and improved to provide access to the 60' x 60' lease area. • The lease area is to be enclosed with chain link fence. • Pole, antennas, cables and ground equipment are to be painted SW 6090 java brown. ANALYSIS FOR THE CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE GROUND EQUIPMENT AND BASE STATION A Certificate of Appropriateness from the ARB is required for the base equipment portion of a proposed telecommunications facility in the Entrance Corridors. The ARB may impose conditions on the Certificate of Appropriateness, based on the EC Guidelines, and consistent with Section 5.1.40 of the Zoning Ordinance.
