A bike-ped bridge across Jacobs Run would be a i
necessary component of the planned I proffered o "
greenway trails along the North Fork Rivanna River j
and Jacobs Run.
As such, a greenway easement would be necessary on
both sides of Jacobs Run in order to accommodate a
trail and bike-ped bridge. Any such bike-ped bridge 100-Year
should be sited to minimize environmental impacts,
minimize cost of construction and maintenance, and Floodplain -
maximize flood resiliency.

More specifically, any such bridge across Jacobs Run i
would ideally be sited in a location that requires no
grading or land disturbance within the floodway and no
structures within the floodway. No such appropriate =,
span site across Jacobs Run is possible within the '
existing greenway easement along the river. ice/

ACPR cons dee that larger greenway easement areas
would be ecessary somewhere in these general areas 100-Year

able to successfully design, permit, construct, and s
maintain a greenway trail and bike-ped bridge. e
('as assessed by ACPR, based on / The existing 100' greenway easement (measured from the center
multiple site visits and GIs analysis) of the North Fork Rivanna River) includes multiple "pinch points"
Floodway and "gaps" where it will be difficult or infeasible to design, permit,
