Dear Mr. Dellinger:
The purpose of this letter is to provide formal certification of the results of the Third -Party Plan Review
performed by ECS Mid -Atlantic, LLC of the Construction Documents for the project in reference, under
the County of Albemarle's Third -Party Plan Review Program. The review was of the Building,
Accessibility, Energy Conservation, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical aspects of the renovation of
an existing storefront office suite.
The requested corrections necessary to accomplish code compliance have been completed and each
of the sheets in the set of plans reviewed and approved has been certified with our (ECS) review stamp.
We have directed the applicant to include a copy of this letter when submitting the Third -Party Review
Authorization Documents, the revised, stamped plans, permit application, and other permit -related
documents.
ECS's review of this project was strictly limited to determining consistency with standard engineering
practices and compliance with the minimum requirements of the Virginia Uniform Building Code,
referenced standards and relevant regulations; and should not be construed as due diligence approval
of the architecture or engineering design of the systems and features that are the subject of the plan
review. Therefore, ECS does not claim to certify any portion of the design of the project, which is the
sole responsibility of the various design professionals -of -record who sealed and signed the submitted
plans, as required by the Virginia Department of Professional Occupational Regulation.
