RE: ARB-2023-18: Hickory Hope Apartments (Southwood Block 12) (090000000001A1)
Dear Applicant,
I have reviewed your revised drawings dated 3/6/23 submitted for the above -referenced project. The revisions
satisfy the conditions of ARB approval. You may consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness. This
approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and
other submittal items presented.
2. Mechanical equipment shall not be visible from the Entrance Corridor.
3. Window glass visible light transmittance (VLT) must not drop below 40% and visible light reflectance
(VLR) must not exceed 30%.
Please note the following:
1. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
2. Certificates of Appropriateness are valid for the same period that the corresponding site plan is valid. If
there is no site plan required for the proposed work, the Certificate of Appropriateness is valid for 3
years. Applicants requesting an extension of the period of validity must do so in writing. The letter must
be received by the Director of Planning prior to the expiration date.
