Below are our detailed responses to your comments. Engineering (Emily Cox) 1. This comment is acknowledged. WP0202200040 is currently under review. 2. This comment is acknowledged. An easement plat will be submitted to the County for review. 3. The road plan has been updated to match the WPO plan. 4. A complete and signed road plan application has been provided with this submittal. 5. Topography has been field -verified. The cover sheet topography note has been updated to reflect recent field -verification. 6. Blocks 9-11 have been labeled as an ultimate condition on Sheet 3. 7. Forest and open space easement in Blocks 9-11 has been labeled on Sheet 3. 8. Handrail has been shown and labeled on Sheets 4 and 6 per VDOT comments. 9. Stop and street signs have been labeled at the Flora Lane/Archer Avenue intersection on Sheet 4. 10. Street trees have been located a minimum of 5' from storm drains on Sheet 13. Planning (Cameron Langille) 1. This comment is acknowledged. An easement plat to create a temporary construction easement will be submitted to the County for review. 2. This comment is acknowledged. An easement plat to create a landscaping easement will be submitted to the County for review. 3. A greenway primitive trail has been shown and labeled on Sheet 4. VDOT 1. Turn lane warrants have been provided with this submittal. Analysis is attached to this letter. 2. Route number for Ashwood Boulevard has been added to Sheets 3 and 4. 3. Speed limits for existing roads have been labeled on Sheet 4. Proposed speed limit for Archer Avenue has been labeled on Sheet 8. 4. Errant fire hydrant label at the intersection of Archer Avenue and Ashwood Boulevard has been revised to specify an existing gate valve to be relocated on Sheet S. 5. Existing guardrail along Ashwood Boulevard has been shown on Sheet 3. Modifications to the existing guardrail have been shown on Sheet 4. 6. Note added to Sheet 5 stating that the existing gas main, fiber lines, and water main in the area of the proposed intersection shall be field -verified prior to construction. 7. Dimensions have been added to the proposed intersection on Sheet 4 per RDM appendix F, section 4, commercial entrance designs along highways with shoulders at intersection. 8. Culvert has been labeled as Class IV RCP on Sheet 9. 9. Culvert riprap outlet protection has been labeled as VDOT Standard EC-1, Type B, with a minimum length of 30 feet on Sheet 5. 10. Public drainage easements have been shown and labeled on Sheet 5. 11. Handrail has been shown and labeled on Sheet 4. 12. Handrail has been shown and labeled on the street sections on Sheet 6. 13. CG-12s at the Ashwood Boulevard connection have been modified and directed at each other. 14. Drainage pipes have been modified to maintain pipe velocities less than 10 fps. 15. Hydraulic grade lines have been shown and labeled on the drainage profiles on Sheet 9. 16. Structure and Bridge Standard Details have been removed from the plan and replaced with a note in reference to where the details can be found. 17. Comment letter provided with this submittal. 18.
