Moores Creek WWTP
Dear Mr. Custer:
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority is proposing an addition to their previously
approved erosion and sediment control plan, WPO 200800079. As such, we offer for
review an amendment to the Moores Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) site
plan.
The details of this amendment include improvements to an existing pump station and
the installation of approximately 1900 LF of 24" ductile iron force main, buried across
plant property. Also included are minor storm water improvements to eradicate standing
water on site after rain events.
Installation of the 24" force main requires a crossing of Moores Creek. Please note a
Joint Permit Application for Pre-Construction Notification has been filed with the Virginia
Marine Resources Commission. Approval of this application is pending.
Please find attached two (2) copies of drawings illustrating the additional work to the
Moores Creek WWTP, a descriptive narrative with supporting documents and
calculations, an E&S Amendment application, and the associated $180 review fee
check.
