e
SP-77-77
Dear Mr. Williams:
I would like to clarify two items regarding the above approvals. When the
revised site plan was submitted, a verbal agreement was reached with your staff that
the chlorine storage building would be moved completely above the 330' contour. I
would like to make that agreement part of the site plan approval.
Also, it was not the intention of the staff for the building permit to he
withheld until Moore's Creek is widened, deepened, etc. The condition of approval
of SP-77-77 now reads,
1. The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority shall take whatever
steps are necessary, including, but not limited to, widening,
deepening or rechanneling of Moore's Creek to eliminate any -
additional flooding which may be caused by the construction
of the holding ponds.
This condition must be met prior to or concurrent with construction of the
holding ponds.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
I/L/LL 7 Se CC.-C

Planning Commission Meeting - November 29, 1977
ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SITE PLAN
Location: Adjacent to and including the existing Moore's Creek Plant.
Zoning: A-1 Agricultural
Proposal: Advanced wastewater treatment facilities on 49.52 acres, and additions
to the existing Moore's Creek plant on 13.91 acres.
Staff Comment
Approval of this site plan is subject to the Board of Supervisors' approval of the
pending special use permits and Zoning Ordinance amendment. The site plan has been
revised to show the gas storage sphere and chlorine storage building relocated
above the 330' contour. The future final clarifiers are not shown on the plan,
however, the intention is to locate the future clarifiers above the 330' contour.
That plan will have to be reviewed when the location has been finalized. As
discussed in the special use permits staff reports, the pumping stations and
holding pondS are located below the 330' contour.
Conditions of Approval:
1. Subject to approval and conditions of SP-77-73, SP-77-77, and amendment to
Section 9A-4 of the Zoning Ordinance;
2. Grading permit;
3. Landscape plan to be approved by planning staff.
