Site plan also includes a 500 sq.ft. addition to the existing dining hall structure on site and various other hardscape improvements and landscaping. ZONING: RA Rural Area - agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5 unit/acre in development lots) OVERLAY DISTRICT(S): AIA Airport Impact Area Overlay, EC Entrance Corridor Overlay, FH Flood Hazard Overlay, Managed and Preserved Steep Slopes Overlay PROFFERS: No POTENTIALLY IN MONTICELLO VIEWSHED: No COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Rural Area - preserve and protect agricultural, forestal, open space, and natural, historic and scenic resources; residential (0.5 unit/ acre in development lots); Neighborhood Density Residential - residential (3-6 units/acre); supporting uses such as places of worship, schools, public and institutional uses and small-scale neighborhood serving retail and commercial; Parks and Green Systems - parks, playgrounds, play fields, greenways, trails, paths, recreational facilities and equipment, plazas, outdoor sitting areas, natural areas, preservation of stream buffers, floodplains and steep slopes adjacent to rivers and streams in Neighborhood 6 of the Southern & Western Urban Neighborhoods Master Plan. The purpose of this notice is to inform you about the proposed project its location and how you can access a copy of the proposed plan and other project information including comments from staff reviewers Please contact the lead reviewer at blangille@albemarle.org for an online link through which you can view the plans, reviewer comments, and provide feedback. The reviewer comments related to the proposal will be available to view on May 4, 2023. Action on the proposed plan must be taken by May 19, 2023. These projects are "by -right", which means that if the proposed plans meet the minimum requirements of the County's zoning, site plan, or subdivision ordinances, they must be approved. Recognizing the importance of public comment, we encourage you to reach out to the lead reviewer to express any concerns or questions you may have regarding the application.
