Intended use or justification for request:
This application for a minor amendment seeks approval of a
Stormwater Manaclement/BMP Plan to meet the ten year storm water
capacity, water recycling and water quality requirements of the
County of Albemarle for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Brown Auto Park
development located at Route 29 North, Charlottesville, Va .
Owner/Applicant Must Read and Sign
This site plan as submitted contains all of the information required by Section 32.5 (Preliminary Plan)or Section 32.6(Final
Plan)of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. I understand that plans which lack information required by said sections
shall be deemed incomplete and shall be denied by the agent within ten(10)days of submittal as provided in Section 32.4.2.1
or Section 32.4.3.3 as the case may be.
For Final Plans Only: To the best of my knowledge,I have complied with Section 32.4.3.1 and obtained tentative approvals
for all applicable conditions from the appropriate agencies.

Alan,
On behalf of Brown Auto Group and Virginia's First Family of Fine Cars Inc. we would like to stop the review
process on the alternate rainwater storage system proposed for this site by RMS. As discussed the owner wishes
to go back to the approved storage tank design and request a reduction in size of the tanks to 4,000 gal since the
tanks will only be utilized for washing of cars outside of the building and not for any grey water systems in the
building.
The stormwater running off of the parking decks is being treated by the Rotondo Oil &Water Separators which
has the coalescing media filter. The zoning ordinace does not require filtration of sediment and there is no
retention requirement for this site so there should be no issue with reducing the size of the storage tanks.
Please let me know if you are in agreeent with this asap and as discussed what method or proceedure would we
need to follow to make this minor change to the approved plans.
