MacCall, Senior Planner Division: Zoning & Current Development Date: 1/31/08 Subject: SDP - 2008 -0001 Blue Ridge Shopping Center Minor Site Plan Amendment The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department Community Development will approve the minor site plan when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Code of Albemarle.] 1. With the revision please provide sheet 2 of the original site plan. This sheet should have the landscaping, parking and building size changes noted correctly as described in the following comments. It will also be a location for the signature panel. 2. [32.7.9] If the ARB is OK with the reduction of landscaping on the north east side of building A then the landscaping schedule should be revised as follows: L -1 from 46 to 36 L -2 from 93 to 88 L -3 from 42 to 39 L -4 from 24 to 23 L -8 from 5 to 3 3. [32.5.6b, 4.12 and 32.7.2.7] Revise the parking calculations to reflect the square footage changes. 4. [4.12 and 32.7.2.7] Revise the loading space notes to reflect the potential change to the loading space location 5. The parking isle with only 2 handicap spaces (middle of plan) now says that there are 13 regular spaces when it actually shows 14.
