Dear Ms. Beverly:
I have reviewed your request for the above -noted sign. Because the sign is not internally illuminated and because it
otherwise meets the EC Design Guidelines, I am able to review this proposal administratively for the ARB. I have approved
a sign of the design outlined below. You may consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness.

Type: Metal panel
Location: Below the "Crozet Great Value" panel in the freestanding sign
Sign Size: 23" tall x 93" long
Colors: Alliance Metals "Alliance ivory" background and "ivy green" letters and border
Graphics: Ivy green border
Illumination: None
Text: "Pets R Us"
Mounting: Mounted to existing poles
This approval is predicated on the fact that the design and materials, as proposed and listed above, will be used. The
acceptance of approval implies that the applicant has agreed to execute the design as indicated on the submittal items
presented, and as listed above. Any changes in the approved sign or materials will require an amendment to the application
and must be reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. This approval does not include any window signs. If window signs are proposed, a separate application must be
made, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.
