Dear Mr. Smith:
I have reviewed your request for the above -noted sign. Because this sign design meets the established criteria for the
Pantops Shopping Center, and because the design otherwise meets the ARB design guidelines, I am able to review this

your Certificate of Appropriateness.

This approval is predicated on the fact that the design and materials, as proposed and listed above, will be used. The
acceptance of approval implies that the applicant has agreed to execute the design as indicated on the submittal items
presented, and as listed above. Any changes in the approved sign or materials will require an amendment to the
application and must be reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. This approval does not include any window signs. If window signs are proposed, a separate application
must be made, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.
2. The sign drawing package contains conflicting information in regards to the color of the raceway. One
drawing indicates the raceway is to be a cream/tan color. The other drawing states that the color is to match
the brick fascia. Please be aware that the raceway must be painted to match the brick fascia.
If you have any questions concerning any of the above, please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Brent Nelson
