Subject: SDP - 2008 -075- Easton EstateNerizon Wireless- Tier II PWSF- Final
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the
Albemarle County Code.]
1. [5.1.40(a)(4)(f)] "All trees that will be adversely impacted or removed during the
installation or maintenance of the facility shall be noted, regardless of their distances to
the facility." Show on the plans all trees to be removed.
2. [5.1.40(d)(6)] The planning commission will determine if the height can be approved at
10 feet taller than the tallest tree. The owner will need to demonstrate to the satisfaction
of the commission that there is not a material difference in the visibility of the monopole
at the proposed height, rather than at a height seven (7) feet taller than the tallest tree; and
there is not a material difference in adverse impacts to resources identified in the county's
open space plan caused by the monopole at the proposed height, rather than at a height
seven (7) feet taller than the tallest tree.
