Preliminary Comments for the following agencies are attached: Albemarle County Community Development Department • Planning • Zoning and Current Development Virginia Department of Transportation Water Resources Manager Comments reflect information available at the time the development proposal was reviewed, and should not be considered final. However, the Site Review Committee has attempted to identify all issues which could affect approval of the proposed project. Please make the revisions that have been identified as necessary for preliminary approval by the Site Review Committee. If you choose not to make the requested revisions, please submit in writing justification for not incorporating such revisions. Submit seven full size copies and one 11" x 17" copy to the Department of Planning and Community Development. I am enclosing a schedule for resubmittals. The operating hours/days of operation/number of employees; 2. The proposed use of the existing auto service building; 3. The proposed use of the existing residence (any changes proposed); 4. Show the size and location of the area subject to this application; 5. Show storage area for cars waiting for service and waiting to be reclaimed and proposed screening for the storage area; 6. Show storage area for non-operating cars used for parts and how many cars to be stored at any time; 7. Provide information/mitigation measures regarding how the adjacent residential properties will be protected from noise, odor, and visual impacts of the garage; 8. Provisions for cars to be screened from view after left by owners during hours/days when garage is not open; 9. Parking area for customers and employees, including the number of spaces proposed for each; 10. Disposal methods for chemicals/parts. 11. Depict zoning line on parcel in question and zoning on surrounding parcels. Some of the parcels shown as RA are incorrect and should be Village Residential (VR).
