RE: ARB- 2006 -136: Luxor Commercial, Buildings 1, 3, and 7
(Tax Map 79, Parcel 24A)
Dear Mr. Shimp:
I have reviewed your recent submittal for the above - referenced project received May 16, 2008. Outstanding
issues that will need to be further addressed are shown in italics after the original comment from the Action
Letter of February 14, 2007.
2. Revise sheet S -2 so as to provide a signed Tree Conservation Checklist. Provide a sample of the proposed
dumpster gate color.
Revise the Sheet C8 Landscape Plan by providing a signed Tree Conservation Checklist. Provide a
sample of the proposed dumpster gate color.
3. Provide a sample and specifications of the proposed window glass. Reflectance shall be held below 7 %.
A sample of the proposed window glass was received; however, a cutsheet indicating it's reflectance value
was not received. Provide a cutsheet of the proposed window glass clearly confirming that its reflectance
value is below 7 %.
4. Revise the lighting schedule so as to indicate the proposed color of the bollard fixtures. Replace the
proposed wall sconce, Lithonia MRW, in the northeast elevation of Building 7 with a full cut off fixture.

5. Provide decorative lighting information or indicate that none is proposed.
The applicant's memo accompanying this latest resubmittal stated that decorative lighting was not
proposed; however, this was not noted on the photometric plan. Revise the photometric plan by providing
a note stating that no decorative lighting is proposed..
6. Indicate whether or not signage lighting is proposed. If it is, revise the photometric plan to provide details
and indicate locations.
The applicant's memo accompanying this latest resubmittal stated that signage lighting was not proposed;
however, this was not noted on the photometric plan. Revise the photometric plan by providing a note stating that
signage lighting is a part of this proposal
Please provide:
1. Two copies of revised drawings addressing the aforementioned comment.
2. A memo indicating specifically how the condition has been satisfied. If changes other than those
requested have been made, specifically identify those changes in the memo, also. "Clouding"
requested changes (information) will facilitate the review of your submittal. All requested information
is to be shown on the sheets in the site plan package - not

to ensure proper tracking and distribution.
When staff s review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a Certificate of
