RE: ARB 2007 -95: Flow Auto — Maintenance Building Addition
Dear Scott and Peter:
I have reviewed the recent submittal for the above - referenced proposal, including site plans S -1
and LL -1 with revision date of 7/15/08; and E -1 with revision date of 10/29/07. I have the
following comments:
1. The plants proposed for the planting strip located between parcels 14D and 15D are shown as
proposed on both the showroom addition and maintenance building site plans. The plans
must be coordinated, but only one plan should show the plants as proposed. Illustrate the
plants on both plans. On one plan, include the plants in the plant list and make sure they are
shown as "proposed" (i.e., use the heavier line weight). On the other plan, do not include the
plants in the plant list, but add a note that makes it clear that they are a part of the other plan.
2. The scale identified for the floor plan is incorrect. Please check all sheets for accuracy of the
identified scale and correct those that are wrong.
3. The footprint of the proposed new work differs between the architectural and site plans. The
39' dimensions on the site plan at the addition don't appear to relate to anything. The western
14' dimension on the site plan at the addition doesn't appear to be accurate. On the site plan,
the layout of the island north of the addition doesn't match the island layout on the
architectural plan. Please compare both sets of plans, double check the layout and all
dimensions for all proposed work, and correct all the errors. Be sure the plans match.
Please provide:
1. Two full sets of revised drawings addressing each of these conditions. Include updated ARB
revision dates on each drawing and an ARB approval signature panel.
2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If
changes other than those requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo also.
Highlighting the changes in the drawing with "clouding" or by other means will facilitate
review and approval.
3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your
revisions to ensure proper tracking and distribution.
When staff's review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a
Certificate of Appropriateness may be issued.
