The minor amendment to the Martha Jefferson OCC site, received on 12 August 2008, has been reviewed.
Engineering review can recommend approval to this minor site plan amendment once the ESC plan is
approved.
1. Please show and note on the plan how the existing sidewalk to the hospital park area is to be
constructed. At least one parking space should be eliminated in this area.

2. Please show traffic control signs on the plan. Show two stop signs at the travelways
perpendicular to the new entrance and one at the entrance onto Willis Drive.

3. Please label the entrance as a VDOT standard designation. It appears additional modifications
to the entrance grading will also be required. The grading indicates a curb across the entrance.

4. This plan must have an approved ESC plan. Please expand the limits and provide the
measures in the Martha Jefferson Hospital ESC Phase III plan (WPO- 2008 - 00004).

5. The throat of the inlet 20ft north of the new entrance appears to need adjusting in order to
achieve the maximum 5% slope requirement in parking areas. (The distance between the 521
and 520 contour line must be at least 20ft.)

Low maintenance groundcover is needed on all slopes steeper than 3:1. Please provide these
plantings on the plan where necessary.
(Rev. 1) The grading indicates 3:1 slopes so a low maintenance groundcover is not needed.
