Subject: SUB - 2008 -102- Handley Farm Estates- Final Subdivision Plat
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the
Albemarle County Code.]
L [14- 302(A)(9)] Building sites on proposed lots. Show the location and dimensions of the
building sites on each proposed lot complying with the requirements of section 4.2 of the
zoning ordinance.

2. [14- 302(A)(12)] Topography. Show the existing topography at the time of plat submittal
at up to twenty percent slope, with a contour interval that is not greater than the interval
on aerial topography available from the county.

3. [14- 302(B)(10)] Stream buffers. Show the located of all the streams and their associated
buffers. There are streams and buffers that are on the county's gis web that are not on the
plat.

4. [14- 303(D)] Acreage of lots. Show the total acreage of each existing and each proposed
lot.

5. [14- 303(0)] Signature panels. Revise the county signature panel to read `Agent for the
Board of Supervisors."

6. [14 -309; 14 -310; 14 -416] Soil evaluations. Health director approval of individual private
wells and/or septic systems. Individual private wells and septic systems. Provide the
results of percolation tests or other methods of soil evaluation used to determine the
suitability of the soil for septic systems with conventional drain fields, so that the agent
can then forward them onto the health department for review and approval.

7. [14 -431] Easements for facilities for stormwater management and drainage control.
Provide deeds of easements for all drainage easements for review and approval from
county attorney.
Revl: comment not addressed. Applicant needs to submit all deeds of easements.
