RE: SDP 2008 — 144 Crown BMW Final Site Plan
Dear Ms. Kot,
I have reviewed the final site plan application. As you know each of the conditions of the preliminary site
plan approval must be satisfied. I have reviewed it for Current Development Planner conditions and can
offer the following comments:
Current Development Planner approval may be granted once the following items have been addressed.
1. The landscape plan needs minor revisions. On both pages C28 and C29 the quantity of plants
appears to be off. Specifically:
a. 17 Willow Oaks are listed but I can only find 11 shown on the plan.
b. 18 Red Maples are listed but I can only find 13 shown on the plan.
2. On the lighting plan provide either a photograph or diagram of each type of outdoor luminaire.
This is required to insure that the fixtures qualify as "full- cutoff'.
3. Provide a plat combining Tax Map 78, Parcels 15B and 15B 1. This requires a separate
application.
4. Provide easements for access where it is shared with other parcels. This may be included with the
easements for utilities, grading etc, that may be required for engineering approval.
5. On page 2 add EC, Entrance Corridor Overlay District to the zoning designation of the parcel.
6. On page 2 the maximum building height is listed as N /A. This is not correct. The maximum
building height should be shown as 35 feet. The building height is correctly shown on sheet C4.
Either modify the building height note on page 2 or remove the building height note on page 2.
7. Provide signature panels for
- Current Development Planner
- Current Development Engineer
- ACSA
- Fire Official
- Building Official
- ARB
- VDOT
The other items referenced in the Preliminary Approval letter must also be addressed. The Current
Development Engineer and VDOT comments should be available within approximately 1 week. I do not
know the status of the other reviews. You may want to contact those individuals directly.
