Russell Morris, Joyce Williams Morris Life Estate From: Elizabeth Marotta, Senior Planner Division: Zoning & Current Development Date: October 22, 2008 Subject: SUB - 200800250 Rusty Miller The Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community Development will approve the plat referenced above when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review. [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County Code.] 1. [Sec. 14- 302A21 Vicinity map. COMMENT: Per this section, please provide vicinity map at a scale of I"=2000'. 2. [Sec. 14- 302A11] Instrument creating property proposed for subdivision. [Sec. 14- 302136] Tax map and parcel number COMMENT: Once BLA is recorded, please provide instrument and TMP number for the parcel that is the subject of this subdivision. 3. [Sec. 14- 302131] General information. COMMENT: Provide date of the drawing and please removed "health department -not for recordation" note. 4. [Sec. 14 -306] Private streets information. [Sec. 14 -316] Approval of entrance on public streets. COMMENT: VDOT approval is required for the proposed new street's entrance onto State Route 609. 5. [Sec. 14 -303N] Statement pertaining to private streets. COMMENT: Provide the required note for the private street proposed. 6. [Sec. 14 -317] Instrument evidencing maintenance of certain improvements. COMMENT: A private street maintenance agreement is required. In accordance with the ordinance, please submit one to this office. The final plat cannot be approved until the County Attorney approves the maintenance agreement. 7. [Sec. 14 -309] Soil evaluations. [Sec. 14 -310] Health director approval of individual private well and/or septic. [Sec. 14 -416] Individual private wells and septic systems. COMMENT: Soils work has been submitted to the health department. Please provide one copy of the soils work for the County's records.
