erosion and sediment control plan
The revised sheets to the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan for the Airport
Runway Extension (WPO200800059) received on 18 Nov 2008 have been reviewed.
These plans are close enough to compliance that we can grant approval subject to
the following conditions;
1. Please provide 4 complete sets of plans with the revised sheets included,
and previous plan sheets revised to match (Currently the details, profiles and
plans have different pipe sizes, and the details do not match the profiles with
regard to pipes entering and exiting risers.) A bond amount will be computed
from this set.
2. Provide this note in bold on the plan; "Downstream channels shall be
improved and bonded with this plan subject to agreement by the downstream
property owner(s). The culverts just downstream shall be improved to at least
four 36" pipes or better, with 3' of headwater available, with upstream and
downstream transitioning and armoring of the channel. The stream channel shall
be armored with rip -rap to the 2yr flow depth for a minimum distance 300 feet
downstream of the culverts, or as necessary to stabilize the channel. This
condition may be altered with final stormwater management plans."
The variance for use of the skimmers instead of wet storage is approved as a
necessity for the airport.
Thank you,
