The County of Albemarle Division of Zoning and Current Development will grant or recommend approval of the boundary line adjustment plat referred to above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. [ 14 -226] Dedication of land for public use. Please show on this plat all areas that are to be dedicated to the County of Albemarle. If the greenway areas are being dedicated with this plat, please use the language "Greenway Area hereby dedicated to Albemarle County ". If a separate greenway dedication plat will be submitted, the greenway dedication plat needs to be submitted as soon as possible. 2. [ 14 -428] Public easements. Drainage easements dedicated to the public must be deeded. I have enclosed a deed of drainage easement. Please submit the deed to the county for review and signature. There is a 20 foot public drainage easement on the plat that should be deeded. 3. [14- 303.E] Dimension standards and information on all lots, streets, alleys, easements, and shared driveways. Easements shown for private streets, alleys and shared driveways shall be labeled as "private street easement ", "alley easement" or "shared driveway easement." The easement holder(s) shall be identified on the plat. Based on this boundary line adjustment, there will be streets that extend from one property to the other. Deeded easements for private streets crossing from one property to the other are required and should be labeled as shown above.
