A week or two before the applicant requests a grading permit, please submit 6 copies of the WPO plan. For a list of all sheets required for the WPO plan, please contact me prior to having the set copied. Please also submit 1 copy of the latest set of Stormwater Calculations and 2 copies of the ESC narrative and related calculations. The WPO bond amounts were previously calculated. The E &SC bond amount is $68,000. The SWM bond amount is $419,000. The forms and instructions to post the Water Protection Ordinance Bond can be found on the Community Development Department Web site on www.albemarle.ora. You may contact Pam Shifflett (Albemarle County Department of Community Development) at ext. 3246 for further information on bonding procedures. Once the E &SC bond and the SWM bond have been posted and the mylars signed for the site plan, you may contact the Department of Community Development to arrange a pre- construction meeting with a County Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector. Also, although tree protection fencing is shown on the plan, it is not to state standards and it will be the responsibility of the applicant and their contractor to preserve the required trees during construction. The existing trees to remain will be monitored by a Zoning inspector during the construction of the site. Please contact me should you have any questions. Thanks, Phil (434) 296 -5832 x3072 12/31/2008
