The Road and water protection plans submitted 13 January 2009 have received Engineering
review. The plans can be approved after the following items have been adequately addressed:
A. Road and drainage plans
1. Note: Right of ways that dissects the drainage swales /ditches may be a concern when
water meters and electric line /distribution are installed. Utility companies normally
follow the right -of -way lines for installations. Utility meters and transformers should
not be placed in the drainage flow path.
B. Stormwater Management and Mitigation Plan
1. Bonds will be calculated upon final approval of the plans.
2. A completed copy of the Standard Stormwater Maintenance Agreement and fee for
recordation for the stormwater facilities is required prior to final approval. [ 17 -304E]
The forms and instructions can be found on the Community Development Department
Web site on www.albemarle.org.
C. Erosion Control Plan
1. Limits of disturbance will be corrected to include all proposed construction.
[Example: sediment trap #3] Should the contractor exceed the limits of disturbance as
approved on the plan, then the project may be delayed while amendments are
reviewed.
2. Bonds will be calculated upon final approval of the plans.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit 2 copies of the revised plans, calculations,
and narratives to Current Development Engineering.

review /approval of this plan.
