Dr. Hurt is seeking approval to reopen an old rock quarry on the west side of Rt. 29 just north of the reservoir. I hear that he's already started to work there prior to our approvals. The quarry itself is along Rio Mills Road. They will temporarily store some amounts of explosives on the property related to necessary blasting. What approvals will they need from your agency and to whom should I direct them? 2/10/2009
