The Planner for the County of Albemarle Division of Current Development will grant or
recommend approval of the subdivision plat referred to above once the following comments
have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to
the Subdivision /Zoning Ordinances (Chapter 14 of Albemarle County Code) unless otherwise
specified.]
1. [Sec. 14- 302(A)4, Sec. 14- 302(A)5] Please provide required information regarding all
private and public easements associated with parcels (i.e. deed book and page
number, or language referring to dedication via plat recordation).
2. [Sec. 14- 302(A)91 In order to confirm adequate square footage for building sites on
proposed lots, please provide topography.
3. [Sec. 14- 302(8)8] Please provide yard information for proposed lots.
4. [Sec. 14 -211, Sec. 14- 212(A)] Please provide an affidavit, deed, or letter from
attorney stating: grantee, grantor and their relationship; and certifying that this is a
Family Division in accordance with Sec. 14 -208 and related provisions of the
Albemarle County Code.
5. [Sec. 14- 212(8), Sec. 14 -316] Entrance of the principal means of access onto any
public street must be approved by VDOT.
6. Albemarle County data regarding stream buffer location on the site differs from that
shown on the submitted plat (Attachment 1). Please change stream buffer location to
match County data.
