Subject: Engineering approval of the WPO plans for The Meadows Expansion (WPO- 2008 - 00091)
Good evening,
The Erosion & Sediment Control, Stormwater Management, and Site Plans for the Meadows
Expansion (WPO200800091 and SDP20080134) submitted 31 March 2009 have received Engineering Review
and meet Albemarle County minimum checklist items for approval. The WPO plan is hereby approved on the
condition that Lickinghole Basin Fee is paid to the county (see details below). Engineering review also
recommends approval to the site plan once the plat has been submitted, approved, and recorded. (The planner
will be the point of contact regarding the site plan approval and plat review processes.)
The applicant must submit copies of the ESC and SWM plans to engineering review so they can be stamped
"approved" and passed to the inspectors. Please submit four full copies of the full set and one copy of the
Stormwater Management plan (sheets 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, and 21).
The E &SC bond amount is $76,800. The SWM bond amount is $19,100. The Lickinghole Basin Fee
amount is $2,604.89. The forms and instructions to post the Water Protection Ordinance Bond can be found on
the Community Development Department Web site on www.albemarle.org. You may contact Pam Shifflett
(Albemarle County Department of Community Development) at ext. 3246 for further information on bonding
procedures.
Once all bonds and fees have been paid and the mylars signed for the site plan (plan will not be signed until plat
recordation), you may contact the Department of Community Development to arrange a pre- construction meeting
with a County Erosion & Sediment Control Inspector.
Please contact me should you have any questions.
Thanks,
Phil
