The Planner for the Zoning and Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department of
Community Development will recommend approval of the plat referred to above when the following items
have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this
time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated bases upon further review.) [Each
comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County Code.]
1. [14 -309 & 14 -3101 Health department Approval Considering that there is an existing dwelling
on the described parcel, an operations permit would need to be presented to verify Health
Department approval and reserve drain field.
2. A well is considered by zoning ordinance to be an accessory structure. Therefore, the well shown
on Page 1 may not be within an easement on adjoining property but must be on the property it
serves. I suggest that the easement shown become a boundary line adjustment to bring the well
into compliance.
Final tentative approval will be subject to the completion of these comments. If I may be of further
