The County of Albemarle Division of Zoning and Current Development will grant or recommend approval of the final subdivision plat referred to above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. [14 -316] Please provide VDOT approval. The subdivider shall submit, prior to or with the final plat, evidence satisfactory to the agent that the entrance of the principal means of access for each lot onto any existing or proposed public street complies with Virginia Department of Transportation standards. 2. [14 -317] Instrument evidencing maintenance of certain improvements: If the subdivision will contain one (1) or more improvements that are not to be maintained by the county or any authority or other public agency, the subdivider shall submit with the final plat an instrument assuring the perpetual maintenance of the improvement. Please provide a road maintenance agreement for the 30' foot private easement [North Berkshire Road]. 3. [14 -435] Surety in lieu of completion of on -site improvements. Road bond or road acceptance by the County Engineer is required. Please submit a road bond request form and letter of completion to the Administration/Central Operations, c/o Pam Shifflett.
