Because this sign design meets the established criteria for the Rio Hills Shopping Center, and because the design otherwise meets the ARB design guidelines, I am able to review this proposal administratively for the ARB. I have approved one sign of the design outlined below. You may consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness. WALL SIGN Type: Channel letters Materials: Aluminum with translucent acrylic faces Location: 1766 Rio Hill Center: centered vertically and horizontally above store front in sign band Mounting: Letters individually flush mounted to fascia Sign Height: 2' - 5- 7/16" Sign Length: 10' - 9 -3/8" Text: "SUBWAY" Graphic: Arrows in "S" and "Y" Colors: Text: "SUB ": Faces: #7328 White Acrylic; Trim Caps & Returns: Black "WAY ": Faces: #2037 Yellow Acrylic; Trim Caps & Returns: Black Illumination: Internal neon: channel letters with translucent faces shall be constructed such that no light spills outward from the top, bottom, sides or back. This approval is predicated on the fact that the design and materials, as proposed and listed above, will be used. The acceptance of approval implies that the applicant has agreed to execute the design as indicated on the submittal items presented, and as listed above. Any changes in the approved sign or materials will require an amendment to the application and must be reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: 1. This approval does not include any window signs. If window signs are proposed, a separate application must be made, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board.
