We must be on the same wavelength; I was going to call you this morning. I will drop off a check no later than next Monday. The amount is $121 which includes two sign permits. Recently, we decided not to order signs to place on Rio Road but are thinking about banners instead and are wondering if we need permits to put a banner on the front or back of the 20x30 tent. We are working with Lori at Virginia Tent Rental and will rent a 20x30 tent which holds 50 people for the entertainment. A fire inspector told me today we won't need a permit for that size tent. Lori is arranging for a fire extinguisher and we will also have no smoking signs. There will be one food vendor, JABA's Top Brocolli Catering, and we have applied for a permit at the Health Dept. Pam Burke has all the paperwork The food will be prepared at JABA and sold at the mall. JABA has a catering license. I will look for the information that you are sending and send back to you. I'm not an artist but will do the best I can. In addition to the 20x30 tent, we will have 2 popup tents (one for the food). If you need the dimensions I will include in the paperwork I return to you. Please note that the event name has changed since I initially submitted the paperwork to Albemarle Co. for the zoning clearance to JABA's Family Fun Fair and will begin at 6 a.m. at Fashion Square mall with a live remote from Channel 29 until noon. There will be an entertainment tent outdoors and will feature a children's' acoustical performance (10 a.m.), the Albemarle County Fiddlers' Contest from (11 -12) and a sing -a -long until 1:00 p.m. The event then moves inside the mall and features live performances until 5 p.m. Please let me know of any additional questions.
